What hearing aids can be donated?

I accept all types of hearing aids and endeavour to ensure that as many as possible are refurbished for re-use.

On rare occasions where they cannot be reused, they will be responsibly disposed of.

What do you do with hearing aids once they have been donated?

Hearing aids are sorted and packaged up. I then liaise with my audiologist contacts worldwide to match these with their needs, prior to shipping them out.

At their destination, qualified audiologists clean and inspect the hearing aids, before refurbishing them. They are then supplied to needy recipients via audiology clinics.

This a non profit making venture.

Do you accept other audiology equipment?

I may be able to pass other audiology equipment on to professionals in the developing world. Please contact me by email to discuss, prior to sending any equipment.

Can I make a financial donation?

I do not accept cash donations. Should you wish to make a financial donation, please contact https://rnid.org.uk/get-involved/donate/

Will I be advised what has happened with my hearing aids?

I endeavour to acknowledge receipt of all hearing aids. As I usually wait until I have a parcel of 250 or so hearing aids prior to donating these on, I may not yet know where they will be reused.
